In short
What is managed AI?
Managed AI is an ongoing service in which an outside team looks after your AI systems for you: checking that they work, updating models, fixing problems, controlling costs and adding improvements each month. It gives an organization the benefit of an in-house AI team without having to hire one. Bit Microsystems offers managed AI plans for the systems we build and, after a review, for systems built by others.
What is included
Everything needed to make it work in practice
One team covers the full job, so there are no gaps between suppliers.
Monitoring and alerts
We watch uptime, errors and response quality, and act before your staff or customers notice a problem.
Model and software updates
New model versions are tested against your use case before being switched on, and retired models are replaced in time.
Quality reviews
Each month we read a sample of real conversations or outputs and correct what the system gets wrong.
Cost tracking
Usage and spend are reported, with recommendations when a cheaper model or setting would do the job.
Small improvements
Each plan includes time for adjustments: new questions answered, a workflow step added, a report changed.
Support channel and monthly report
One place to raise issues, with response times agreed in writing and a short report of what was done.
Where it is used
Who this helps, and how
Typical situations we design for in Kathmandu and across Nepal.
Offices with a local AI server
Hardware health, backups and model upgrades handled, so the assistant stays current.
Businesses running a chatbot
Unanswered questions reviewed and content updated as prices, services and policies change.
Teams relying on agents
Workflows adjusted when an upstream system, form or process changes.
Organizations without IT staff
A single team responsible for keeping everything AI-related working.
How we work
From first conversation to a system your team uses
- 01
Review
We document the system as it is, including anything built by someone else.
- 02
Stabilize
Monitoring, backups and alerts are put in place and known issues fixed.
- 03
Run
Monthly monitoring, reviews, updates and support.
- 04
Improve
A short quarterly conversation about what to add or retire.
Is it right for you?
An honest fit check
We would rather tell you now than after you have paid for the wrong thing.
A good fit if
- An AI system has become part of daily work and must not quietly degrade.
- Nobody in-house has the time or skills to look after it.
- Your prices, services or processes change often, and the AI must keep up.
- You want predictable monthly cost instead of emergency fixes.
Probably not the right choice if
- You have an engineer in-house who wants to own it. We will train them and hand over.
- The system is still an experiment that few people use. Wait until it matters.

Questions
Frequently asked
Straight answers to what people ask us most about this service.
Why does an AI system need ongoing maintenance?
Because everything around it changes. Providers release new models and retire old ones, your prices and policies change, connected systems are updated, and real usage reveals gaps nobody predicted. Without attention, an AI system slowly becomes less accurate and more expensive.
What is included each month?
Monitoring, updates, a quality review of real outputs, cost tracking, an allowance of time for small improvements, a support channel and a short written report. The exact allowance and response times are set out in your plan.
Can you take over an AI system that someone else built?
Usually, after a review. We first examine how it was built and document it, then tell you whether we can support it as it is or what would need to change.
How quickly do you respond to problems?
Response times are agreed in writing as part of your plan, with faster response for issues that stop the system working.
Do you provide on-site support?
For hardware such as a local AI server we can attend on-site in Kathmandu. Most other work is done remotely over a secure connection, which is faster for everyone.
